A day at the park

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT...

We are so excited to announce that next month we will be moving to Montgomery, AL for Justin to serve at Dalraida Baptist Church (where we were married, see picture below) as the Children's minister for 15 months prior to moving overseas with the IMB.

God has truly blessed us with this amazing opportunity! We are extremely excited and can't wait to share more! After two and a half years of seminary, we are moving home :)

You can only imagine how excited our family is to be closer to the girls!

Today we went to Holding Park and the girls had so much fun. It is a nice day, and is supposed to be the only one this week, so we took advantage of it!

While Caki is sleeping, we sometimes do silly things. Today we did a short "photo shoot." I would tell Madelyn to make a certain kind of face and she would then do it!

She is such a fun little girl.

Yeah. Our car was DEAD. Wouldn't start this morning for Justin so he had our neighbor and friend Patrick jump it off. That means a trip to the auto parts store! This is the first time we've had a problem with our car. We bought it in 2005 new, so three years is good huh?

Allergy season...

My dear friend from high school, Jackie, makes hairbows. This is one she made for Madelyn.
Madelyn painted about 14 pictures today. She LOVES to paint!
Catharine practiced two new things today. One being coloring, the other being eating crayons. LOL

Another picture ruined ;( But...Madelyn had been playing and realized Catharine was playing in the grass so she had to see what that was like. She came and sat for a minute or so then took her shoes off and went back to the playground.
Look at Madelyn being so brave! When she first started climbing up this thing I freaked out. I would spot her and she always did so good. I then learned to "let go" and let her be big...she loves climbing this at the park. She is really getting too big.
I'm so sad this picture is messed up :(
Catharine puts anything on her head like it is a phone and says, "heh heh" like she is saying "hello!" It is so funny.

When I wasn't looking, Catharine grabbed my sweet tea and started sucking it down! She was so thirsty and I wasn't fast enough evidently!

Is anyone else suffering from allergy season already? Everyone in our family excluding Madelyn is sick with allergy issues in our household! Ugh! Here are some recent pictures from one of our park adventures! A couple are damaged because the camera was broken, but we have gotten a new one now and hopefully there won't be any more damaged pictures (with lines through them).
