Catharine's 2nd Birthday Week Celebration

I think every single time I upload pictures to the blog, I forget how to do them in order. It is too frustrating to re-position them in order, so these are in order backwards! Start at the bottom to see chronologically what happened! We celebrated Catharine's birthday on Sunday, the 18th of January by waking her up with her birthday song, and then birthday donuts with a candle. She knew it was her special day and ate up every second of it! At church we had purchased the alter flowers out of thankfulness to the Lord for the gift of her life. She loved the flowers...we only got to enjoy them during the service, then left them at Katie's house because we went out of town for 5 days to Richmond, Virginia for our conference. After church we drove straight to Troy (about an hour away) to meet Justin's parents and Mema at a resturaunt for lunch. There, Catharine opened presents from Nana and Pop...she loved it! The girls went home with the Martins and we headed home alone to go get ready for our trip. The following weekend, we celebrated Catharine's birthday with Justin's parents, Mema, Pop and Diane, and sister's family. We had lunch at Chick-fil-a, did build-a-bear (thanks Aunt Katie) and that night had cookie cake and dinner/presents. She loved her birthday. We of course spend a lot of time thanking God for her around her birthday. We will never forget what He did in her life and how much it changed ours. We are so eternally grateful for all of your prayers and support of our family during that time! Enjoy the pictures ;) She got really good at opening presents!
