Johnny Appleseed Day at Madelyn's school was really done well. The kids were encouraged to bring three apples, one yellow, one green and one red. They were asked to wear jean bottoms and red, yellow or green shirts. Madelyn was so excited!
The kids paraded around barefoot delivering apples to teachers and staff waiting in the hallways. They wore their fun hats!

I just have to share this. As we were walking down the hall to leave her school, she started to cry. I said, "what's wrong baby?" She said, "I'm just so happy you came!" Love this gift of motherhood...
