I never thought it could get hotter than Alabama, aka "armpit" of the world. BUT...shock and amazment, Wake Forest has officially done it. It is over a hundred degrees and hotter than we can stand! Madelyn is watching TOO much t.v., but it is just too hot to go outside before 7PM. The girls have both been sick too so we can't be around anyone right now, which helps the situation a lot...lol. We are ready for winter!
We (me and the girls) are planning a big adventure across country by ourselves. I will title this trip, "The girls go West." We are going to Washington State to visit family in September. If you have any traveling advice for a mom traveling with two very young girls by herself...please email me!! We are praying hard for a good trip :)
Madelyn is miss sassypants lately. Her favorite phrase is, "no that is MINE." Woah boy. She also frequently says, "It's MY turn!" Our sweet little girl has turned into a PAIN!! Gotta love that sin nature. God says that we are all sinners, that includes children, they just don't know it yet!
Catharine is weighing in at 14 whopping pounds! She just had her 6 month shots, even though she is 7 months old! She is doing well. We had one night where she slept from 9 to 6:30, and that was the last of that! She still gets up twice a night...we're managing. I'm still pumping every four hours...it is going fine. We appreciate your prayers in this matter. We don't want her to be on formula if we can help it.
Justin started back to school taking 12 hours. That is MORE than full time for grad school. We anticipate leaving the States next October for Africa. We are still unsure of the country we will move to, but will keep you updated as we get closer to departure. We should know by Thanksgiving where we will be going.
