Today is India's Independence Day!
They celebrate much differently. No fireworks, no cookouts or family gatherings. They raise their flags and at 7 am today, hundreds of school kids marched past our house shouting something in Hindi...I'm sure is was something good, but at 7 am it didn't sound great!
