It's No Wonder

When you choose to love, it's no wonder that when you leave, the pain will be immense. We have loved and been loved by some amazing people. Our memories will be forever wonderful, and the bad things will fade--as bad things tend to do. Of course there are many more photos like these representing faces of people we've been privileged to know, but you get the idea.
My neighbors have begged me to leave Elizabeth here with them. They have loved my kids like their own. More so sometimes. I will miss their happy, kind faces.
Oh H and J. I really just cannot even begin to say thank you enough. You all have opened your home and hearts to us. We have enjoyed our time together so much. You all are incredible. We have learned from your strengths through this time and will take much home with us.
These kids. They have been like family to each other. My kids will ache for their buds. So sad.
This family came into our lives at the right time. Only the Father could have connected us the way He did. They have encouraged us with their faithfulness and steadfastness in trials. We will never forget them and the work they are doing.
So, as we finish packing, say our final good-byes, and pray for this dark place on our way out, our hearts are heavy, our eyes are soggy, and we will never be the same. It's no wonder that we are hurting so much over leaving this place.
