The Fork

On FB I mentioned a fork in the road.

It is time to tell you. For a time we have been dealing with some intense stuff. The Father has been faithful (of course) to us and has been working on our hearts. We are at peace with the decision we've made, but that doesn't make it easy for us. While we know that He is in control, there are a lot of people effected by this decision, and for those who will face some discouragement and/or disappointment, my heart aches.

We will be leaving India and headed to the US sometime within the next 8 weeks.

Our plan is to rest and spend time with family for the holiday season and then to move to Wake Forest, NC again to finish Seminary. Justin has 3 semesters left to finish school, so it will be nice to go back to a familiar place.

Please lift up our city, the workers who live here, and the work that is going on. All of those things are in very capable hands, and have been before we ever came.

We'll keep you updated. Just wanted to make the news official, and will give you more later on.

read this out-loud to larry with a lump in my throat...for so many reasons. mostly just at how raw and real the Lord is among your precious family, that He is so near, and guiding you all through these places.
i love my prayer beads! keep them in sight at all times, and plan to wear my badge at school around them, daily. long after yall return home, too. :)

you know i can't wait to see you and talk, talk, talk over a long hot cup of coffee, sister!

praying fervently, for HE knows...:)

love you, girl~

I am so sorry Chandra. What a difficult thing for your family to go through and such a roller coaster of emotions. We will keep you in our prayers.
